Stanley Chia
Director of Strategic Technologies, Vodafone
Dr. Stanley Chia has been with the mobile communications industry for over 18
years and has held leadership positions in mobile network operations, technology
development, third generation mobile system research, standardization, and strategic
overseas business development. Prior to joining Vodafone and its predecessors,
AirTouch Communications and AirTouch International (US), he worked for BT-Cellnet
(UK), British Telecom Laboratories (UK), and SmarTone Mobile Communications (Hongkong).
He is Senior Member of Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (US) and
Fellow of Institution of Electrical Engineers (UK).
