Ambassador Don Pramudwinai became Thailand's Ambassador to the United States in 2009. In his very distinguished career he previously served as Thailand's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, as well as postings in Europe. Immediately prior to taking up his post in Washington, he was Thailand's Ambassador to the United Nations.

Ambassador Don is a graduate of UCLA, where he received both his BA and MA. He received a second MA at Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tuft University.
