China Import and Export Fair, also called Canton Fair, has been held twice a year in Guangzhou in the Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in 1957. For hundreds of California firms, the Canton Fair was their first introduction to China's markets. The fair is China's largest and most effective trade fair, with the biggest attendance and business turnover (more than $30 billion last fall). Participants come from all over the world

  • Phase 2  (April 23-27, 2010) -- furniture, household and garden items, toys
  • Phase 3 (May 1- 5, 2010) -- clothing, accessories, foods, health products
