Cal-Asia and the US Commercial Service office San Francisco are pleased to sponsor this timely discussion on clean and green opportunities in Singapore and neighboring countries. 

Briefing will be led by Patrick Santillo, who brings a wealth of knowledge gathered from postings in Asia and Europe.  He will look at recent developments in Singapore and the region vis-à-vis energy, water, and environmental/natural resource policy as they may affect business. 

Eugene Seo of the Singapore Economic Development Board will provide an overview of Singapore's role in the sector and Maurice Neo, of the Public Utilities Board (PUB) and Managing Director, Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), will focus more on the water sector.

The briefing will be followed by Q&A.  On hand will be the head of International Enterprise Singapore (Los Angeles), Boon Ho Toh, and the director of SPRING Singapore (Americas).

Suggested industry sectors: architecture and design; urban planning; water and waste water treatment; energy -- clean, renewable, alternative, efficiency in production, transmission and distribution; pollution controls; etc. 

Organizations:
EDB - The Economic Development Board (EDB) plays a pivotal role in identifying and pioneering economic opportunities for Singapore, its people and its business partners. 
Public Utilities Board (Singapore) - As the national water agency, PUB is responsible for the collection, production, distribution and reclamation of water in Singapore. 
IE Singapore: International Enterprise (IE) Singapore is the government agency driving Singapore's external economy.
SPRING Singapore is an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for helping Singapore enterprises grow and for building trust in Singapore products and services. It is both an enterprise development agency, and the national standards and accreditation body.
