About our speaker: Christopher Quinlivan is a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service. He is currently Commercial Counselor and Deputy Senior Commerical Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China, a post he has held since August 2011. Mr. Quinlivan serves as deputy to the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs, overseeing the U.S. Department of Commerce’s activities throughout China. Prior assignments include Vienna, Austria; Salt Lake City, Utah; Brussels, Belgium; Beijing, China (2001-03); and Athens, Greece. Mr. Quinlivan has seven years of private sector experience as an account manager and logistics agent.
