California-Asia Business Council's Asia Night 2005 honored U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein. The gala was held at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco on Friday, June 3. Guests feasted their eyes on elegant Cultural Tables (center) arranged by the Asian Consulates, and fabulous Asian travel packages, antiques and other treasures in the Silent Auction. After an exquisite Asia-fusion dinner, the New Silk Road Award for 2005 (top left) was presented to Sen. Feinstein for her outstanding, career-long contributions to strong California-Asia commercial ties and friendship. She responded (lower right) with an important policy address on US-China business issues. Guests also enjoyed a glamorous Asia-inspired fashion show coordinated by Anne Namba Designs, Honolulu (lower left), with Diva International providing hair styles and makeup.
